This is the first example of a number of web services we will create to experiment with extending the range of software contributions people can make to the project through the use of web service to enable a pragmatic form of Polyglot Programming
This Federation Webservice takes either a audio-boom-clip-id or a url (the address of an audioboom clip page), and returns new wiki-page-json suitable for the Transport Plugin.
You can test this webservice here:
curl https://livecode.world/fedwiki/create_page.lc?drop=2633382
or paste the url into the browser, where you will also be able to see the wiki-page-json returned by the service.
The service takes on parameter which can either be the id of an audio-clip (as above), or the full url of an audioclips page.
This would give the following unwieldy url that you would use for your AJAX jQuery GET request - web serivce ![]()
or using curl:
curl https://livecode.world/fedwiki/create_page.lc?drop=https://audioboom.com/boos/2732626-utopia-governance-01
Follow this link to see an example of an audioboom page - audioboom.com ![]()
https://audioboom.com/boos/2732626-utopia-governance-01
You can copy the link of this page, or any other boo onthe site that grabs your fancy. It should look equivalent in form to this:
