At present this screen is frequently empty. At most it shows available Page Templates. This is a waste of screen real estate.
# Proposed Changes
The idea is to use the content to offer automatic options for importing and creating new pages. In particular there are two types of content that would seem appropriate:
* Wikipedia content * Existing Federation Pages
Let's look at each of these in turn.
# Display Wikipedia Summary
Wikipedia content could be fetched based on an asynchronous RESTful call, which fetches a summary paragraph, image, and link to the full article.
This summary page would be displayed, and in addition to a link to the full Wikipedia article for further reading, allow the easy importing, and creation of a Fedwiki Page based on this content.
# Display Links to Federation Pages
In a similar way to the existing Search functionality, we could make an asynchronous RESTful call to an external Fedwiki Search server in order to display any related Fedwiki pages created by other authors.
